Christmas In July Blog Hop

Hello hello everyone, really excited to welcome you all to the Christmas in July Blog Hop.

This is my first ever blog hop and I am feeling great to be a part of it.

This blog hop is hosted by Thepaperfundaychallenges and Theinspirationstationchallenges.

Please hop on along us for a lot of Holiday inspiration!

If you were directed here from Melanie’s blog, you’re at the right place. If you feel lost, you can start at paperfundaychallenges.

For my project today, I have created a 5×5 tent fold card. I have stamped Poinsettias using stamp from Christmas Florals, an A4 stamp set that came along the Creative Stamping magazine on a piece of white cardstock measuring 4 3/4″ square. These are stamped in black archival ink, colored with Faber Castell watercolor pencils that are almost 7 years old now. Pretty old, hehe!

The Merry Christmas sentiment is by Crafter’s Companion and is designed by Sarah Davis, I cut it in gold cardstock to add a bit of a bling. The second layer was slightly offset to create dimension and it was the same as the card base, Chinese Red Cardstock by Stamp me some love.

For this hop, 6 prizes will be awarded to 6 random commenters, to be eligible for the prize, you must answer the following question:

How old is my set of color pencils?

Pretty easy, no?

I hope you have liked my project, your next stop is Rocky.

Should you feel lost, you can go back to paperfundaychallenges and find your way through.

Please hop on along with us, have fun and Best of Luck!

  1. I’m pretty sure all of my colored pencils are older than yours at 7 years. lol I rarely seem to use them and color with Copics more (though I’m a basic colorer). Your card is lovely! I love poinsettias.

  2. Love poinsettias! This is a fabulous Christmas card using your almost 7 year old colored pencils – Thank you for the hop

  3. Wonderful card. Love the traditional colour combo.
Your Faber Castell watercolor pencils are almost 7 years old.
